Introduction
I love everything about quilts. I make them, sell them, donate them, speak about them, write about them and travel to see them. I am also a co-founder of the Atlanta Quilt Festival and the editor of the book “Good Trouble Quilts — The Fight. The Progress. The Legacy.” Which is available at atlantaquiltfestival.com. The High Museum of Art in Atlanta acquired 4 of my quilts. I am currently exhibiting at the Mason Fine Art Gallery. My large collection of red and white quilts were featured in a solo exhibit at the 2023 International Quilt Festival in Houston, TX.
I will be writing about everything related to African American quilting which has become a force in the art world. Follow my blog at ovspeaksquilts.com. Meet me at the Atlanta Quilt Festival August 3rd. Let’s talk and experience the joy of African American quilting together! If you are so inclined, please subscribe. I would be grateful.🙏🏽
